This experimental project aimed to use holographic recording's accuracy to create a composition of dust distributed in the air around the recording environment. The goal was to create abstract compositions in the form of holographic paintings that use and control dust distributions around the holographic plate to catch the dust and compose the recorded shapes.

Scratching the holographic plates affected the coated sensitive layer, causing some areas of the plate surface to not be sensitive enough to record light, while the air pump attached to the holographic holder controlled the surrounding dust during the recording period. A set of light and shadow smudges was recorded and controlled to accumulate into abstract compositions. The main factors to examine were randomness, coincidences, and uncalculated probabilities, while the role of controlling the light beam was scientifically performed in accordance with holographic recording standards.

Within this context, the project examined how purely scientific-oriented medium serves intuitive actions in artistic practices.
